The MTA cracked down on fare jumpers on 41 bus lines Thursday, the latest high-profile enforcement push to stem fare evasion on city transit. The effort, begun earlier this week, placed plain-clothes MTA fare enforcement agents on buses around the city, in concert with a visible presence of uniformed MTA teams and NYPD teams.
