Ben Affleck is reportedly disgruntled at the persistent romance rumors linking him to Kick Kennedy, daughter of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and wishes fervently they would stop.
First the rumors flew, and though no one seemed to know exactly why, they like flame through dry tinder.
Not only are the two not dating — as reps for both Affleck, 52, and the 36-year-old Kennedy keep repeating — but they also barely even know each other. The socialite and occasional actress has been telling those in her orbit that she is “,” reported TMZ.
Affleck meanwhile finds the talk “ludicrous and crazy,” sources told the outlet, and he’s reportedly “annoyed” that the rumors won’t die.
His irritation comes amid the tension of Affleck’s well-publicized breakup with Jennifer Lopez, his longtime off-and-on flame and soon-to-be-ex-wife of two years. They’re sorting out their divorce deal, and he’s most definitely not dating anyone, as he and everyone around him insists.
“There is ,” an Affleck spokesperson told People last Tuesday of the Kennedy speculation. “I don’t know if they even know each other.”
